The Canadiens beat the Bruins again last night. Yuck! That's TWO nights in a row now. They play in Boston tonight, so hopefully that'll help turn things around for the Bruins.
The Flames play the Sharks tonight too. I want to see them kick San Jose's ass!
Then the Pens play the Sens tomorrow night. Go Crosby!!!
Yeah, I loves me some hockey. ;D
Not sure how my blood tests from Friday morning are going to turn out. If you were able to read my entry from the other day, you'll know that I was feeling pretty down about my health, etc. after my appointment Tuesday. Well Lisa got me over to her place Thursday night, saying she had a sure fire way to cheer me up. Well her "sure fire" way of cheering me up involved my cousin (who I hadn't seen in a few weeks) and a quart of vodka. lol God love her!
I didn't get home from Lisa's until about 4am the next morning. I had to leave at 6am for the hospital. Let me tell you, two hours of sleep does not a party make! lol The blood tests weren't so bad, they only took a few viles this time around. But getting them a urine sample is what proved to be somewhat of an issue. Women cannot pee in a little cup! Especially when the person in the bathroom next to you slams their door and literally scares the "pee" outta you. Yeah, messy. But I had to laugh. lol Eventually I managed to get enough in the cup for them. If I never have to go through that again though, it'll be too soon.
I gotta go back on the 21st to go over the test results and discuss what we're gonna do next. I'm pretty sure I'll end up having to go back to my family doctor again before the end of the month too. Then I gotta go back to see my new gyne before June. Hopefully that'll be it for the Summer! *crosses fingers*
Yesterday I woke up with a really bad sore throat, which has now turned into a full blown cold. Bleh! Guess I shouldn't have gone out last night after all.
Speaking of last night, I don't think Duncan and I are friends anymore. He told me not to call him or talk to him anymore. But not as politely as that. lol Why? Because I asked him to stop shoving his girlfriend, Keri, around and to stop telling her to "Get the fuck outta my face bitch!" and to "Fuck off!!!" while we were at Heath's. I was suprisingly calm during the whole thing too, but his treatment of her was making us all, especially Keri, uncomfortable. So I had to say something. Nobody else would. Was I wrong to? =/
I'm going to start going to the gym across the street with my friend Tammy this week. She needs a "buddy" and I need someone to "show me the ropes". So it's a win-win situation. I'm sure it'll be a hoot with the two of us involved. lol
It's suppose to be pretty nice this week weather wise, so I'm going to try to take advantage of that and get some major walking in too. Already got my mp3 player loaded and ready to go!
I think that's all I had wanted to say...for now. :P

1. If you had the ability to legally change your name, would you? To what?
Probably, and to Jaclyn.
2. What do you with with change that you receive from banks/purchases/find on the ground?
I put all my small change in a homemade piggy bank. It's an empty Lays Stax potato chip tin. lol
3. If you could travel back in time to change the course of one historical event, what event would it be?
Historical for me, or the world in general? For me I'd change my 18th birthday. For the world in general, probably 9/11.
4. Would you rather live a safe, stable, moderately interesting life or one where every day was dangerous, volatile, and different?
I'd rather live a safe, stable, moderately interesting life thanks.
5. What do you think you'll be remembered for when you die and, if you could, would you change it to something else?
Assuming I'll be remembered in the first place, I think (or like to think) I think it would be for my sense of humor and/or kindness. :)
Copy and paste to your own journal, blog, etc. and fill in your own answers.

The Penguins beat the Senators 4-0 tonight. I like both teams, but I gotta root for the Penguins. They have hometown hero, Sidney Crosby. This is gonna be one helluva series kids! ;D
James is FINALLY gone from the Big Brother house. Huzzah!
The snow around here is all gone, and I hope it stays that way! It's really been a beautiful week weather wise. I've yet to take advantage of it by getting out there and walking, but I plan to tomorrow.
We had our first barbecue of 2008 last night. Mmm...was it ever good! Can't wait 'til it starts becoming a regular thing.
This universal adapter is already starting to piss me off. It'll run my laptop while it's plugged in, but it refuses to charge it for some reason so I might have to return it. Grr!
I've got a "plan". That may sound a little mysterious, but I don't want to jinx anything by giving away any details just yet. Wish me luck, I'll need it!
Big thanks to everyone who has commented and/or sent me messages regarding my last couple of serious blogs. It really meant a lot to me. I love you guys! *hugs*
I'm out. Ciao!

Does anyone know anything about universal laptop adapters? I've heard more bad things about them then good and wouldn't usually recommend them to anyone, but I had to get myself one as my original is barely hanging on by life support.
My laptop popped up a message saying that this adapter isn't the original and that my computer will operate slower and won't charge (which it seems to be doing now...*knocks on wood*) so I should connect another Dell one. Yeah, cause I've got $200+ just laying around to buy one of theirs. Pfft!
I don't want to fry my laptop, but I do want it to work and this was the only solution I could see. It says on the package that this adapter is suppose to work with my particular Dell model, so here's hoping that it does! It might take longer to charge because I'm pretty sure it's a lower wattage, but that's fine. As long as it charges eventually. lol
Soo...any thoughts or experiences with universal type stuff? PLEASE SHARE!

I was asked to spread the word, and I know I have at least a couple of Taylor Kitsch fans on my f'list, so here goes...
As most of you already know, Taylor's 27th birthday is on April 8th. We here at TK.net will be posting a special birthday message for Taylor on Tuesday, but if you would like to send Taylor a birthday message of your own, you can do so by posting it here on his official MySpace fan page.
Please note...you must be a MySpace member to post a comment! If you don't already have a MySpace account, don't worry. Registration is free and easy.

Ok f'list, I need your help. Especially you Canadians!
Apparently ET Canada/Entertainment Tonight Canada ran a piece about the top 5 small screen "Canadian Hunks" on their show the other night. Kyle Schmid was #4, but more importantly Taylor Kitsch (now I know I have your attention. heh) was #1! Sadly I missed all of this because I did not know about it in advance and don't normally watch gossip/celebrity news shows without a reason. I only found out about it because of a discussion that came up in my interest search. Unfortunately it was a discussion by a bunch of rabid Kyle Schmid fan girls complaining that Kyle was #4 and wondering "who the hell is Taylor Kitsch?!?" and why he was #1. Pssh!
So I'm hoping that someone here on my f'list will have seen it and can better inform me of the details, or will know where I can find a clip of it online. Anyone? I've already tried the ET Canada site AND YouTube to no avail. :(
I'm not going to bother posting this on MySpace because only 2 or 3 people on my f'list there know who he is. lol

1. I often twist my hair. It doesn't really matter where I'm at, who I'm with or what I'm doing either. lol I know it annoys some people when I do it, but whatev. It's MY hair! :P
2. I modeled clothes for a fitness clothing store called 'Aerobics First' when I was in junior high. It was my first and only fashion show.
3. I'm pretty handy and I know my way around a tool box. I'm also quite capable of changing a tire (even though I don't own a car or drive...at all!), pumping gas, fixing a toilet, unclogging a drain, patching holes in the walls, etc. I have my Dad and his 20+ years of being a building superintendent to thank for that.
4. I'm not afraid of bugs. Including spiders! If I find one inside, I'll safely "relocate" them outside somewhere instead of killing them.
5. I was a c-section baby. I wasn't due until the end of July, but I tried to come out in June. My Mom's doctor didn't like that idea and wouldn't let me come when I wanted to. How rude! So being the stubborn girl that I am, I refused to come at the end of July like I was suppose to. lol To make my point, I even anchored myself down in my Mom's belly by wrapping my umbilical cord around my ankle and held on. lol Come August 8th, my Mom and her doctor had decided they'd had enough of my antics and attitude (and they were afraid the cord was around my neck) so they went in and scooped me out! Which is why I'm a Leo instead of a Cancer (the astrological sign that I'm truly more like imo) or a Gemini. :D
6. I haven't had sex in 7 years now and despite being given a vibrator for my birthday last year, I currently don't use (or have any other) toys.
7. I can't sleep with any less than 4 pillows. I have 6 on my bed now, including a body pillow.
